I had bought Minecraft a few years ago. When trying to install it now, it’s asking me to pay…again. I’m using same ID, same device and I have the invoice copy as mail. It’s not reflecting in hidden purchases or elsewhere

Has the developer of the game issued a newer paid version of the game since you bought it?
If so, the only way to get it is to buy it.
Redownloads of the same app are free*. Updates for an app are free. But paid upgrades for an app are not free.
*The App Store only carries the most recent version of an app.

I don’t think they made any changes. Version clearly is new but everything looks same. Price however is slashed by 90%.
