How can I reset my iPhone if the screen is unresponsive?

All was normal until my screen font changed to huge and it wasn't responding to any of my swipes. When I try to reset it by turning it off, I can't because I can't navigate to the swipe off. The only way I can make a call is to tell SIRI to dial it for me.

Force your iPhone to restart:

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this might take longer than 10 seconds).
