Liquid detection notification on iPhone due to adapter and hot weather

I started getting it on a humid day soo i let my phone rest a little and overrided the notification then the adapter was acting out not charging, while when i connected the wire to some other connecter it was working. I have changed the adapter today because it stopped working but when i connected the old wire with the new adapter it showed the same notification soo i restarted my phone and it disappeared. Can it be the hot weather or the wire?
