iPhone 11 - Audio problems on playback

Almost accidentally, I've got back the third party vids [e.g., FB reels]: On a Spotify song I'd used as an experiment, I noticed the symbols for audio/bluetooth which called up a dropdown list, and I clicked on iPhone, and vids and voice memos started working, but still no dictation [which I REALLY need since I am, oxymoronically, 'all thumbs' at typing.

Throughout all this, Siri alway responded to my voice , and was able to make phone calls, so it's not a microphone problem. Tried your diagnostic suggestion, and selected my home wifi from the list that appeared, put in the password but got a "network not recognized" response. BTW, I'd done nothing out of the ordinary except pairing some earphones while using Google maps on my phone.

Thanks, I'm glad I checked before engaging with support, since my dictation function if back across the board, and again I have no idea why! Are iPhones self-healing now?? Gift horse moment. Grateful for your help.

I had also done the forced restart previously.
