iPad battery not dropping after charging

So when I charge my iPad Pro m4 I noticed that it doesn’t start dropping until about 18 minutes of using it. After that it drops normally. I have 80% limit on

Your iPad clearly has a very healthy (and presumably relatively new) battery. There is some variability in all rechargeable batteries; as all batteries differ slightly in their maximum capacity and discharge characteristics, no two devices of the same model will ever be identical.


Unless your iPad is not performing in other aspects, there is no cause for concern. However, if you suspect a problem, you would be well advised to contact Apple Support and request a remote diagnostic test. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
