How do I give app access to certain things like photos, camera, etc. on iPad 5th gen?

Hello. I use an iPad Air (5th gen), version 18.5. I have been trying to give apps like Messenger and Google access to certain things (Messenger: Camera and Microphone, Google: Photos [to save photos directly]) and I just can’t. The apps have not requested for access (that’s what my settings app has stated), and I can’t figure out how to give access if the apps haven’t requested it. I’ll appreciate any info on how to give access to apps in cases like these.

settings->privacy & security

and choose the item, if the apps are not under say "camera" then it's because the app do not request access

if it's suppose to do so then you can try to delete the app and redownload it

if it still do not then you can reach out to the app developer
