Unlocking Apple Account for Activation Locked iPhone

The original owner will either need to gain access to their account using Account Recovery if possible, or submit the proper documentation to remove the Activation Lock. Usually this requires the original purchase receipt from Apple or Authorized Apple Seller showing the IMEI/Serial number of the device on the receipt. Apple does not get involved in third party sales, so any other documentation is will be denied.
