Data in iCloud is only saved for 30 days when you are no longer using the Apple Account. That is for your protection and Apple no longer has the data. Google on the other hand will save your data much longer and that brings with it additional security issues where companies are frequently involved in data breaches with the world we live in today, including Google in 2018.

Creating multiple different Apple Accounts is not going to carry over data from your previous accounts. As stated already, it is not your device that was hacked, it was your accounts that were compromised. That usually happens with phishing messages where you inadvertently hand over your credentials to a scammer thinking they are a legitimate source.

You have many methods to protect your account including using two factor authentication, a Recovery Key, Advanced Data Protection, and for your device there is Stolen Device Protection.

they wiped out my Google account and Google was able to restore everything and give me a hard copy of everything. No privacy issues brought to my attention from them.

i’ve dealt with support multiple times to resolve these issues. I feel like they looking at me crazy! My account password is changed within five hours of me creating a new Apple ID. but it’s not Apple device or security. At first, they said it was my Gmail my Outlook account that I need to create an iCloud account. that way they can ensure that it’s not a third-party application! Did everything support has requested three months later same issues are plaguing me.

Traded in an iPhone 12 for a iPhone 16. Ever since my account has been compromised.

I have an additional iPhone 14 that was compromised as well. Once I obtain the iPhone 16.!

Had a iPad that I threw away just kept getting hacked. The device was about eight years old.

Bought a brand new MacBook to resolve these issues. Same issues occurred and I took that **** back.!

I don’t even log into an Apple account and my devices still getting put on screen time and I’m going on focus and screen time!

Anyone else has decided to move on from Apple and seen that the grass is much greener?

Your apple id or email account can.

Set up 2 factor authentication for your gmail account as well.
