If you want a second opinion, no, it's not normal. It's BETTER than normal. One might expect the health of your battery to be in the 97% range after more than 150 cycles. The health of your battery will continue to degrade as you use and charge your phone. It is NOT something you can stop. When the health dips to 80%, which it will at some point in the future, you then pay Apple to replace the battery.

No one here knows what specifically is happening, but here are some examples:

I purchased my iPhone 16 Pro Max in October. ⇣

I only use a MagSafe charger, have different charge cycles and different results.

However, charging with a cable would offer faster charging speeds at the expense of battery health. ⇠🔋

Learn why ⇢ the battery in your iPhone drains too quickly for more detailed information.

Temperature Effects on Li *** Battery Life:

  • Capacity loss in standby applications is largely determined by temperature
  • Annual capacity loss tends to decline as the battery ages
  • 80% remaining capacity is generally not the end of a lithium battery's useful life, but recommended by Apple for replacement

I recommend to slow charge your iPhone to maximize the charge capacity, battery health and efficiency. ⚡️🔋

NOTE:
Temperature: Charge above -30°C and Discharge below 55°C

Apple won’t replace the battery until it reaches 80% capacity.

Good luck! 👋🏼😉

Wow.....your battery is doing great.

Normally, you should expect about a 1% decline for every 50 Charge Cycles.

So, with 150 Charge Cycles on the battery, it should have declined by 3% and Battery Health would be expected to be at about 97% at this time.

Lucky you. Your battery must have really been closer to 103% when it was new, but this would still be displayed as 100%.
