Touch ID not working on iPad Air 7th gen

I don't know what went wrong, I was using it normally when suddenly today it can't even work even before I put any finger on it. I've had this problem before and on the first occurrence I fix it by restarting the ipad twice, maybe any clue suggesting is this a software error or hardware error?

Note : I didn't drop my ipad or done things that maybe can cause it to happen
