How to fix "Not enough room" on USB drives when connected to iMac?

After making a slideshow on iMac that I tested as ok and it played on the tv I sent it (The USB) to a relative who tried copying it to a brand new USB (32GB)using the Windows platform and he gets a message "not enough room" . The Slideshow is only 474gb ? What is going on please

I guess there is a typo because 474 GB movie does not fit to 32 GB USB, right?

Anyway, maybe the issue is that the USB is formatted as FAT which has 4 GB upper file size limit. So the relative should format the USB as exFAT or NTFS instead.
