Purple screen blinking on iPhone 16 Plus when screen dims or accessing Control or Notification Centre

Hello there,

my iPhone 16 Plus is blinking when the screen is turning low brightness and also when I’m trying to access Notification and Control Centre it flashes purple.

I know that this issue was in iOS 18.1, but I’m having it still in iOS 18.5.

If this unfortunate situation was caused by the operating system, then everyone (including myself) would have the same symptoms.

You have described a possible hardware failure that occurred just after a software update.

While this is unfortunate, it is not uncommon.

However, only an Apple Genius can review the cause and provide a complete solution.

Therefore, I recommend service.
