iPhone voicemail prompts missing, mailbox empty but mailbox saying full

I once had the ability to delete and rid myself of unwanted messages. Those prompts are gone. When I check my voicemail, I am told that I have none. Yet, when people wish to contact me, they are told my mailbox is full.

I’ve spent at least two hours with AT&T tech support with no luck.

Help!

We can all understand your frustrations. (Many, if not most of us have “been there”)

But the “greeting” that callers hear resides on your carrier’s voice mail servers. (NOT your phone)

The messages are saved on your carrier’s voice mail servers. (Your phone only has a copy)

Only your carrier can resolve whatever might be causing your VM issues.

If they can’t diagnose and resolve it, they simply haven’t involved the right techs.
