How to stop Apple ID verification requests on iPhone?

This keeps popping up almost every day or when I restart my phone. Now the problem is it's asking me to verify my old Apple ID which is deleted, so when try to verify it by typing Apple ID and password it doesn't work. I thought it is going to stop eventually, but it's keep popping up. This has been going on for months now, any solutions?

Well, this is indeed a problem.

If in fact your old Apple Account was deleted (and not simply changed), then it’s as if a different person is using this iPhone and its resources. The iPhone needed to be thoroughly cleansed as follows when this transition occurred:

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If this wasn’t done already, do it now.

And, of course, the new Apple Account will not own anything belonging to the old Apple Account such as apps, iCloud items, music, etc.

I'm scared to erase all content and settings (reset to factory settings) as required in one of the steps because I don't remember if I turned-off find my iPhone on old Apple ID before logging out and deletion request. I could get phone completely locked and stuck on login page not able to use it at all.
