My iPhone 13(locked) is not activating after I mistakenly tried getting eSIM on it

Because you clearly bought a used iPhone 13, which is carrier locked. Return it to whoever you purchased it from.

Call the carrier it is locked to and ask them. This has nothing to do with Apple.

Only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. You'll have to contact them.

Sounds like you have a carrier locked phone. You will need to contact the carrier to have it unlocked. Apple does not unlock phones.

That usually means that phone was carrier unlocked using different means than by the phone carrier which is the only way to get it unlocked. How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support

Contact the phone carrier.

OK. But iPhone 13 was discontinued by Apple in September 2024. Either way, if it's locked to Verizon, were you trying to use a different carrier? If yes, you'll need to ask Verizon if they are willing to remove the carrier lock, but if it was subsidized by Verizon, it's HUGELY unlikely they will remove the lock. So why not just establish service with Verizon?

As already posted, only the “locking” carrier can release the lock.

IF you’re not a current, active (i.e. “paying”) Verizon subscriber, they’re certainly under no obligation to unlock the device for you; and they might not even have the means to do so.

If the phone is locked to a carrier, only the carrier the phone is locked to can unlock it. If the carrier it is locked to is Verizon, then use Verizon. But I'm guessing you don't have a clue what carrier the phone is locked to. And you still haven't answered the question about whether you bought a used iPhone? I'm guessing you did.

Did you by chance buy a used iPhone, which may be carrier locked? Open Settings > General > About - scan down to Carrie Lock and if the phone is unlocked it will say No SIM Restrictions. What does your phone say there?

What carrier are you attempting to use it on? Verizon? Or a different carrier?

Where, EXACTLY, did you purchase the phone? The iPhone 13 was discontinued in September of last year. You did not buy a new iPhone 13 directly from Apple unless you purchased it almost a year ago and left it sitting in a drawer somewhere.
