Unable to find SIM tray on iPhone 12 mini

According to post re iPhone 12 mini sim tray should be on bottom left of phone this is not so with my wife's phone which is needing the sim card to be replaced where is the tray ?

On the iPhone 12, the SIM card tray is actually located on the right side of the device. You will see a small pinhole – use a SIM tray eject tool or a paperclip to gently push into the hole to release the tray.
