According to post re iPhone 12 mini sim tray should be on bottom left of phone this is not so with my wife's phone which is needing the sim card to be replaced where is the tray ?

The SIM slot is not on the bottom of the phone, it is on the left side of the device. You will need to unfold a paperclip and push it into the pinhole to eject the SIM card.

And by the way, the two holes you see on the case, are to allow you to attach a lanyard to the case, which is useful for people who tend to drop their phones and would like to carry the phone attached to a lanyard which they carry around their neck. I'm sorry I wasn't around to see the photo you posted after asking for it. But, I should have asked if the phone was in a case when I first responded and indeed it was.

Agreed, users here deserve much more by providing actual Human Knowledge with real world experiences. You are correct that there never is any reply from that user as there is no interest in guiding the OP to a successful resolution if they need any follow up advice. It is just a one and done blah, blah, blah and then move on to the next target. There is no actual Support being provided as they can't maintain any conversation.

sorted ! it was like a case within a case now i thought i was going crazy - perhaps I was
