Thank you for the screenshot.

Screen Time Being Off:

Screen Time cannot be edited, one app at a time. So, restore from a backup that does not have this issue, and all would be fine. To remove this, you would have to Factory Reset this, as if you were to sell it. Perform as inscribed here, including the backup creation and iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. Then, add all items back, one-at-a-time, and enable items in iCloud in your Settings App.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on when this all began, and how you have troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

To improve my understanding of the phenomenon, it would be highly beneficial if you could share a full screenshot (Do not crop it). Visual representations carry a greater impact than written descriptions.

Please remember that this is a public forum, so when attaching a screenshot, please avoid including any personal credentials such as IP addresses, card details, email IDs, Apple IDs, IMEI numbers, serial numbers, phone numbers, order IDs, or any identifiable location information if you are sharing a map.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.

ChatGPT says:

"Limited Access Prompt" under Screen Time > Usage refers to a system-level prompt that appears when an app or feature tries to access something restricted—like location, contacts, photos, or microphone—while Screen Time restrictions are active.

Here's a breakdown of what it likely means:

✅ What It Is:

  • system dialog asking for permission (or showing a denial) when an app attempts to access restricted content or features.
  • Usually triggered by Content & Privacy Restrictions or App Limits you've set in Screen Time.
  • It appears in the usage breakdown to show that some interaction occurred—even if no app was allowed to complete its request.

📌 Common Examples:

  • An app tries to access the camera when it's disabled.
  • Safari tries to open an adult content website when web restrictions are in place.
  • An app wants to track your location but is restricted by Screen Time settings.

👀 Why You’re Seeing It:

You might see it in the list of most-used apps or activities in Screen Time because:

  • It was triggered multiple times.
  • It’s logged like any other activity.
  • It doesn’t correspond to a traditional app, but still consumes “screen time” through interaction.
