MacBook Air M2 (2022) – MagSafe Not Charging After macOS 15.6 Update

Hi everyone,

After updating my MacBook Air M2 (2022) to macOS 15.6, I noticed an issue with charging:

MagSafe charger is not working – it blinks orange but does not charge.
USB‑C charging works, but it is very slow using my 35W adapter.

Has anyone else faced this after the 15.6 update? Any fixes or workarounds?

2015 Macbook pro no longer charging from Magsafe 2 charger, but macbook air is? So I have a 2015 macbook pro which has a magsafe2 60w charger. It has always worked fine until my son borrowed it for his macbook air. I assumed that he had been rough with it when it no longer lit up the light and didnt charge my macbook pro any more after I got it back. I tested it on his macbook air and it is charging his ok. So I tried resetting the pram and then resetting the SMC on my macbook Pro but it still want working. Eventually the battery ran out and the macbook died, just showing the red battery connect to power icon on the screen, but it isnt charging anymore when I connect the charger?
