Re: "What to do If Apples Automated systems can't help you reset your AppleID password?"

✽ Try checking you have the newest compatible software on your device.

Eg: Check in Settings > General > Software Updates (NB: Wise to back-up device before updating OS)

or

Try re-starting your device before trying again. (Deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update recent setting changes, and often restores order if something is not working as expected.

✽ If you still need help, and haven't already seen them:

Wondering if following the suggestions in Apple Support's online articles (links below) can help:

or

If needed: Apple provides an Apple Account Support website (info. / support / contact options etc.):

There is a "Get support - start now" link (ie: online chat / phone / email etc.) at the bottom of their website.

Apple Account - Official Apple Support

You can be more specific on what does not work when using Account Recovery. It is important to note that the request will be cancelled and not work under these conditions:

  • Regardless of how you started the account recovery request, you should turn off all other devices that are currently signed in with your Apple Account until account recovery is complete. If your Apple Account is in use during your request, your account recovery will be cancelled automatically.
  • If you started your account recovery request with iforgot.apple.com through your device’s browser, you should avoid using that device during this period. If possible, turn that device off. Using that device might cancel account recovery.

If you get a response from Apple stating that the Account cannot be recovered, then you will need to create a new account and possibly remove the current account from your device that you can no longer access by removing the Activation Lock that will prevent you from resetting the device.

All my devices are on iOS 15.8.4 or 16.7.11. Also, Everything I've tried, like iforgot.apple.com doesn't work

Also, Their is no Chat support available

When completing the steps on getsupport.apple.com, it just prezents me with the link going to iforgot.apple.com

Also, I should mention that Settings on both devices, my iPod touch and iPhone X, are asking for my password

I also should mention, i've transfered my data on my iPhone X, and it also wants my password

I've tried Account Recovery but that also is broken or won't help
