i don't want to go to a repair shop, pretty sure that is a software problem, but none of articles found related to that helped

Did any of the articles recommend running Diagnostics Mode on the iPhone?

Did any of the articles recommend resetting the phone back to factory defaults and then setting it up again using a backup......(that ideally would have occurred before you ran into difficulties)?

If that doesn’t help, then Force your iPhone to restart:

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this might take longer than 10 seconds).
