How do I change orientation of my iPhone 13 mini?

i have an iphone 13 mini.  i would like to change the orientation of the phone so that it is upside down.  i read that this can be done using assistive touch.  if this is true, can someone tell me how it is done.

While you are right in that you can use Assistive Access to rotate your iPhone screen upside down, that only works in select third-party apps that support it. You cannot rotate your iPhone's screen upside down on the Lock Screen, Home Screen, or system apps. That used to able to be done on older iPhones that had the Home Button, and you can currently do it on iPads.


To turn it on, you can go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Turn that on. Then when you are in third-party apps, you can test if they support upside down rotation by tapping on the Assistive Touch icon (gray circle) > Device > Rotate Screen > Upside Down.


You are also welcome to provide Apple with your feedback below, so they know that this is a feature you'd like to see implemented. Feedback - iPhone - Apple You can also submit your feedback specifically to Apple's Accessibility Team by emailing accessibility@apple.com.
