Where can I purchase the MacBook Air laptop with the M1 chip. It’s not online and I don’t like the look of the laptop with the m4 chip. If I walk into an Apple Store would they have those available for purchase?

The M1 MacBook is no longer sold by Apple, except maybe online as a Refurbished Mac Deals - Apple.
Apple's Certified Refurbished Macs are exactly that - manufacturer refurbished to factory standards and sold with the same one year warranty as any new Mac.
You will no longer find the M1 MacBook at any Apple Store.
