When I search for a file in the search field of Files App, even if I am n the correct location the iPad doesn't show results. What can be a possible solution?

Go to Settings > Apps > Files > Search, turn off the 2 settings there, reboot your device and turn those settings back on. Wait a couple minutes for the search index to rebuild.
