Went to take a picture with my iPad and noticed a document scan button at the bottom of the screen so I tried it, looked like it worked ok but I now can’t find the scanned items.
where dose it save them to?

I also think Notes is right-- I don't use it much, but Notes seems to be the default for document scanning.
Try to scan again and now take care to notice where it is saved, maybe the previous scan is also there.
