I can confirm that my phones model is A3090 iPhone 15

That would make this an entirely different issue, as iPhone 15 model A3090 is the international version, and supports one nanoSIM slot, and (usually eight or more) eSIM slots.

In Settings > General > About, you should see both a SIM slot with IMEI, and eSIM with IMEI.

If that hardware is not showing, update to current iOS (iOS 18.6.2), and check again.

If that fails to resolve this, contact your carrier, then contact Apple Support or your local repair provider.

This is a major problem for me as I am out of my country of residence, I have no way of calling apple support and I work on a boat so I can’t, or don’t have time to be able to go into an Apple Store at the moment to get this resolved. I tried looking for an email address to contact as I only have access to WiFi at the moment. I factory reset my phone and if anything that just made things worse as I struggled to log into my account. After successfully logging back into my account. I then tried adding the eSIM which then I saw that the “add eSIM” option is not appearing. After this I purchased a physical sim to be able to use data and try to get the eSIM added on the phone, that sim did not work on the phone so I then purchased a second sim and experienced the exact same issue, I now receive a notification when restarting my phone that says “Sim Failure”, is there any way I can resolve this or contact apple via email or something as this is ridiculous and honestly making me want to go back to android because this would never happen with an android. Can’t access a physical sim as well as I can’t add an eSIM. This has just really made me upset and annoyed. Do you have any advice for me?

Not that will resolve this.

This given no working phone (and this likely hardware issue is well past the reported eSIM issue), no alternate phone access, no local access to repairs, no access to Apple chat, no local replacement hardware, and presumably with other limitations?

The difficult constraints you have described don’t quite approach those of operating in low earth orbit, or overwintering in Antarctica, or such. But your situation is headed that way. Bring some spare parts or spare gear next time?
