iPhone 15 Pro keeps restarting (panic log shows SMC BSC failure)

My iPhone 15 Pro currently running on iOS 18.6.1 has been randomly restarting on its own for months. I recently checked my Analytics data and found 4 “panic-full” reports on the same day.

After looking into it, I noticed the logs point to an SMC BSC failure. From what I understand, that could mean a problem with the battery sensor, but I’m not sure if this is definitely a hardware issue or just a software bug in iOS.

Has anyone else experienced this on the iPhone 15 series? Should I be contacting Apple Support for a repair, or could a future iOS update fix it?

Have you tried a forced restart? If so it seems best to me that you contact apple support for a hardware service, given these diagnostics

I just did a force restart, and if the issue continues, I’ll reach out to Apple Support.
