Safari has been quit because has a problem!


Hey There,


I Apple Q The Safari it's not responding I click the force quit and the pop up says You quit the safari because of the problem and Click send to Apple to submit the report to apple. This information is collected anonymously? So did you have any anonymously collectors? What's collected and Anonymosly means?

The page you are looking at is sent to Apple. It is anonymous because Apple does not know who the sender is and there is nothing in the report that would identify you.


Every time you Force Quit an app, it will generate a report such as that. If that is the first time Safari has not responded, I would not worry about it. If it happens regularly, then you likely have a third party app installed on your computer in the Launch Folders causing a conflict. Some common apps that will do this are:

  • Cleaners
  • AntiVirus
  • VPN


If you want to investigate it further, you should post the free EtreCheck report. It also does not contain any personal information, but will provide more details than what can be found in that log after a Force Quit.
