Apple News articles showing up in Spanish- why?

Some of my Apple News UK-based content is showing up in Spanish. All of my settings are for English-UK. I don’t even have anything set for English-US which would make vaguely more sense when it comes to allowing Spanish content. How can I stop Spanish content from showing?

Content is overwhelmingly US-centric so I wonder if that might have a bearing. It’s annoying.

Change apple store language but not country This page https://getsupport.apple.com/products/choose appears to me in German, why? Have I set German as my language in my settings? No. Then show me this page in English, no translation via Safari shenanigans. Show me the actual page in English. I have no idea why you're forcing German on me, based on what? And I'm refraining myself from using a more colorful language, which you deserve.
