My iPhone 14's touchscreen stopped responding after updating to iOS 18.6.1. It was working fine before.

I've already performed a factory reset, but the touchscreen is still unresponsive. I’ve also noticed some heat around the bottom-right area of the phone when it’s powered on or charging.

Have you tried the forced restart?

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button

If this is not working your iPhone has hardware damage I am afraid, please Contact - Official Apple Support to set up hardware service for your iPhone
