How to modify Safari extension permissions in default profiles
I recently added a few Safari extensions and I have the Personal (default) and some additional profiles. I'd like to only allow the extensions to be active in two of the secondary profiles, but NOT active in the default profile.
When I click on Safari/Settings/Profiles, I see the list of my profiles on the left in the Safari popup window. When I click on any profile other than the default, I'm able to click on an Extensions tab where I'm able to select which Extensions are active in that profile. But on the Personal (default) profile that Extensions tab does not appear and so all the extensions are active when I use the Personal (default) Safari profile.
That's the opposite of what I want. I don't see anything in Apple online documentation that says you can't modify extension permissions in the default profile.
Does anyone have any insights into how to resolve this issue?
I'm using Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1 and Safari 18.6 on Mac Studio 2023
