First, you have posted to a user-to-user site. We are all users here.....just like you. Apple is not here. They will not see your post or reply to you.

We have no control over decisions that have been made by Apple, if you were thinking that we might be able to "overlook" Apple's decision to not unlock the phone. The phone will remain locked.

You would have needed to have been the original owner of the phone, and the seller must have been an authorized Apple dealer.

An iPhone 13 that you bought 9 months ago was not "new". Apple discontinued the iPhone 13 in September of 2024, so your phone was at least 13 months old and likely much older than that.

If you bought from an authorized Apple dealer, you will be able to find their name when you look through the list of authorized dealers using this link:

  • Was the device placed in Lost Mode?

Apple is not able to remove the Activation Lock on devices that have been placed in Lost Mode.

  • Was the receipt from Apple or Authorized Apple Seller?

Apple does not get involved in any third party sales. Even I could create a receipt for a purchase and that certainly would not mean anything. If that was accepted, every person that stole a device could simply create a sales receipt or sell it through a third party and Apple would be complicit in defrauding the actual owner of the device.

Re: “My iphone was blocked by someone after it was lost”

How, exactly, did this happen if the phone was associated with your Apple ID? You would have been the one in the position to block them … not vice versa.

Unless you helped that “someone” by giving them your credentials, or logging your phone into their Apple ID, or some scenario like that .
