I updated my iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max to iOS 18.6.2 and neither has any of the issues you mentioned.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Open Control Center, and at the top, you'll see the icon for the camera or microphone and which app was using it most recently.

Limit the speaker volume · Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Volume Limit. · Turn on Limit Maximum Volume, then drag the slider to specify the maximum volume.
