how to generate a password for thunderbird for my icloud mail

Since I updated to os18.6.2 and my pc was updated which has windows 10 on it, I cannot access icloud mail using thunderbird. I get a message saying that I need a new password for Thunderbird. I have tried to find the part of settings --sign-in Securty but can't find the section that used to generate new passwords that I used to enter when Thunderbird asks for my new password. What do I enter for the new password?

You need to generate a password from the https://account.apple.com website.

If you already have one generated, but you don't remember it, you can revoke it and generate a new one.
