iPhone 14 on Metro by T-Mobile having random cellular signal dropouts

Someone please help. I just bought a used refurbished iPhone 14 from Amazon. And at random the bars and the 5G icon disappears and the connection is lost for a few seconds. My carrier is metro by t-mobile. Does anyone iPhone 14 users have this problem? Is my phone defective? Is it my carrier? I’ve tried fixing it but the fixes don’t help. Please I paid a lot of money, and can’t return it for a refund

I’m in the Bronx. And I had an iPhone 12 bought used at Amazon and it never did anything like this. I hope I don’t have to spend $400 of money I don’t have for another iPhone 14

If you Cannot Return it, Troubleshoot it, yourself….

If this just icon keeps going away, then update your iPhone to the latest iOS version. Apple has a tendency of providing updates for 7 years after the release of the device or OS version released. So, sure enough, it will no longer receive iOS updates(I’m guessing 4 years from now).

Contact your Carrier:

Being your Cellular services are not working, you need to contact your Carrier.

Troubleshooting Cellular Errors:

A. Start with these Links:

B. Install a Cellular Update:

It might be prompting you for a cellular update to install. So, go here for that. Update your Carrier Settings Manually on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

C. "No Service":

If "No Service" is shown on the top-left corner of your screen, go here to fix that: If you See No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Get a New iPhone:

I recommend returning this iPhone. Then, purchase it from Apple or your Carrier. That would avoid issues like this. If you are in a rural area, note the the location shown may not be so strong enough 100% of the time to show 5G.
