When I get a text the person name that is in my contacts doesn’t show up just the telephone number. How do I fix this?

—restart the iPhone (?)
—Verify sender name is in the Contacts
—Settings > Notifications > Messages> Show Previews (includes sender name) set to Always or When Unlocked.
—you can toggle the Contacts setting off and on to jump start the sync
If no resolve—
sign out of icloud and back in again
