You can certainly take it to an Apple Store, but I suspect they will tell you that the battery is performing within specifications. Maybe not, though – they do have a deeper diagnostic they can run.
If the health drops below 80%, the Mac will report Service Recommended for the battery and at that point, Apple will definitely replace it (though not for free, unless you have AppleCare+).

Apple considers that a Apple laptop's battery needs replacement when it cannot maintain, at least, an 80% charge @ 1000 full recharge cycles.
Based on what you provided us, your laptop's battery is well below the 1000 cycles, but still can only maintain a maximum capacity of 81%.
... so yes, if it were me, I would go ahead and replace its battery.

I would not spend any money repairing an obsolete/vintage or soon to be obsolete/vintage computer.
