You can certainly take it to an Apple Store, but I suspect they will tell you that the battery is performing within specifications. Maybe not, though – they do have a deeper diagnostic they can run.


If the health drops below 80%, the Mac will report Service Recommended for the battery and at that point, Apple will definitely replace it (though not for free, unless you have AppleCare+).


If you see Service Recommended on your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro - Apple Support
