White screen after Venmo app update on iPhone 16 Pro

If the Venmo app freezes immediately on launch and shows only a blank screen with a faint blue bar at the bottom (where the logo should appear), the fix that finally worked for me was resetting the display settings. Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size and set the slider back to the default middle position (100%). Then go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom (or View) and set it to Standard, not Zoomed. I went to Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Larger Text and unchecked Larger Accessibility Sizes and moved the text size to the middle (it reduced my default font a tad). That did the trick for me.

UPDATE: You need to revert the iPhone font size to default in order of the Venmo app to function.

If you have already removed the application, reinstalled it and tried restarting your phone, there’s nothing else you can do but contact the developer of the application.

This is because of the font size. Change the font size for the Venmo app back to 100%.

I spoke with Venmo Support again this morning. This is a known issue that they have been working on for at least five months and they still have no solution. There are most recent app update was 17 hours ago. I still can’t use Venmo on my iphone 16 pro. And, I can’t create a new account in Venmo because I only have one phone number. Ugh
