My iPhone 15 Plus back camera is not working

Back camera stopped working on iPhone 15 Plus. Happened just before last update to iOS 18.6.2. Screen freezes and After restarting phone might take 1 photo then freezes again. After resetting phone number of times still doesn’t work. Sometimes makes clicking sound but doesn’t save to Photos App. Sometimes can will take short video (even though not in video selection) and can then screen shot a still.

photo app is till saving screen shots.

have adjusted all settings and no improvements.

Phone 18 months old on a Telstra 24 month plan. If I can prove is hardware will be able to activate Australian Consumer warranty and have Apple / Telstra replace. But if it’s software or any doubt around that it seems unclear.

to reduce inconvenience and stress seems like being forced to upgrade at my own expense. ($300 to get out of contract)

If that doesn’t help, then Force your iPhone to restart:

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this might take longer than 10 seconds).
