The alarm and ringtone volume lower by themselves all of a sudden. Even when manually taking it to a certain level, after a few days it goes to the minimum. This is really frustrating, as it’s not the first time this issue prevents me from hearing the alarm in the morning.

Have you tried this? See below:
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and set the RINGTONE AND ALERTS slider to the desired volume for the alarms.
Then, turn off "Change with Buttons." That will keep the alarm volume from changing when you make other volume changes for music etc.
