iOS 26 Cellular doesn't work after update

Hello,

I updated my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 26 today, and I've noticed that cellular service is not working at all.

When the phone booted after the update, it didn't ask for the SIM PIN code.

I also went to Settings > Mobile Service > SIM PIN and tried to disable the PIN, but when I tried to tap on Change PIN, nothing happens.

Additionaly, my phone number no longer appears in the mobile service section.

Also, when I open SIM Applications, I can see my carriers services listed, but when I tap on them, nothing happens.

I have already tried:

- Restarting the device

- Reinserting the SIM card

- Checking for carrier settings updates

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

Guys i may have found the solution for this problem , you need to turn lockdown mode off , you can check it via - privacy and security, lockdown mode

Lockdown mode is "designed for the very few individuals who, because of who they are or what they do, might be personally targeted by some of the most sophisticated digital threats. Most people are never targeted by attacks of this nature."

If you have it on and you don't fit into that category, you should definitely turn it off.

Im in the UK as well and I was given the exact same answer.

After doing some research, the only way to avoid or minimise the fee is to raise a case with the Ombudsman. However, even that will require a lot of evidences and will take up time.

iOS 18 security support is not ending anytime soon which means the only options are:

1. Trade in for android.

2. Get an android phone while keeping your iPhone 15 Pro. Use it as paper weight until iOS 18 end of life and issues of iOS 26 killing older iphones will come up that might force Apple to fix it.

Sadly enough this also killed the chances of me picking up another iphone in the future. Goodluck!

Adding that £502 and trading in your iphone will allow you to get a new phone already! 😅

This is my second message in this forum. Will Apple be releasing a fix soon? I've been stuck without a functioning phone for almost a month and a half now, and it’s extremely frustrating. After using Apple for nearly 15 years, I’m seriously considering switching to Android.

I’m an iPhone 15 Pro Max user in Ireland. I’ve tried everything — resetting network settings, restoring the phone, toggling Airplane Mode, checking APN settings, and more. My phone uses dual eSIM, and even after updating to iOS 26.0.1, I still have no network. It’s been more than a month with no service at all.

Does anyone know when Apple plans to release a fix for this issue?
