Microphone noise and glitching in videos after iOS 26 update

After the IOS26 update the Microphone in the videos doesn't works as proper and it has some noise cancelling or glitching somehow

Video recording microphone problem before and after iOS 18.4.1. update Hello all, I have a problem with the sound when recording a video (iPhone 13 mini) As you can hear in the video1 and video2, the sound is almost not heard at all and only a hissing sound. Sometimes the sound is heard well at first, but after a while it fades and all you can hear is a hissing sound again. Everything was still OK on Friday, I only noticed the problem on Saturday (iOS 18.4) Updating to 18.4.1 didn't help and a full reset didn't help neither. I also tried recording a video on SE 2022 with iOS 18.3.2 and everything is fine there. Do you think this is a software bug or is it more likely a fault with the microphones? Does anyone have a similar problem? Thank you for your answers :)

se 3rd gen microphone issue i have an se 3rd generation version ios 26.3.1 but the problem has been happening prior to and after updating. my phone microphone works when i'm filming a video on the camera app but any other app i've tried, the mic just has a soft crackling noise. this happens during phone calls, voice messages/calls on social media and in the voice memo app. i've made sure there's nothing blocking the mic, tried restarting the phone and updating it, as well as making sure mic permissions are enabled with no luck. is there anything i haven't tried or should i take it in to get it looked at?

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
