Potential issues with iOS 26 update

After updating, I have some texts that are not being delivered to me until 8-12 hours later than they were sent. It’s not all conversations, just a couple of them. Have tried restarting the phone several times.

Recently updated to ios26, who decided to make all of these changes? My phone is so difficult to use, its so long winded to do anything, battery dies really fast and slower than an iphone 10 years ago. If its not resolved very soon i’ll bin it and go to a Nokia/Blackberry

i have ipad 10th gen and since ive updated to ipados 26 i experience annoying glitches in books and photos applications.

and when i slide through homepages i feel it is a bit laggy compared to previous ipad os🥲🥲

I’m on 16 pro max , after ios 26 update ive been having some issues with loud speaker earside suddenly dont work when anything is playing , the inner ear spear works fine , after restarting it works fine for a while then again same issue , also when receiving notification there is some sound glitch, not to mention when leaving any app to homescreen its not that smooth . Rather than that its amazing so far

The new update has turned off iMessage and FaceTime from my phone. Wants me to sign in but keeps telling me unsuccessful activation. First time ever not being able to utilize FaceTime on an Apple device.

My iPhone is a 14 pro max & I downloaded IOS 26 & had trouble with phone ringing for incoming calls but I turned phone off & back on & that fixed it but now It won’t tweet when I get incoming text which I depend on!! I’ve checked it several times & it’s chosen to tweet but still not working on day 2!! Love most of changes but haven’t had time to go thru all of them yet. I wish there was a way to change the fonts if there is a way I’d love to know hiow. Thanks so much.

I’m having issues with iso 26 update. My screen freezes, picture is off center and doesent respond. Couldn’t close the app ended up asking google how to shut down my iPad. I eventually managed to right things, but I’m starting to see issues again

I have same exact problem! I do NOT use the side “silent button” , yet every time i restart my phone which is several times a day now with iOS 26.0.1, my phone is “silenced” on its own and I have flip that switch up and down! I’m not getting very important notification sounds and they are all turned on the phone and individual apps!

My 14+ updated to the IOS 26 update, and now my phone is freezing , you cannot turn the screen off or kill the app, you cannot turn the phone off. After about 5 to 10 minutes, the phone automatically shuts off and restart itself.

Update 26.0.1 - anyone have issues with Apple Music after the update when using Bluetooth where the songs “fade” from the current song to the next song randomly but not smoothly? Some songs will fade out ~30seconds before the end and the next song will fade ~30seconds into the song but they are both playing at the same time for ~5 seconds? It’s not a smooth fade. This only began after the update.

Now been having a problem getting into this forum, keep being told I’m timed out try again later.

Have found a fix that works for me with the Excel problem that I, and others, have been having. If you open Excel in “stage manager mode” with another app alongside, for some reason you can then update Excel. Hope this works for others.

Today my 15 pro updated last week to iOS 26.0.1 was singing two tunes, both on Apple Music. The current one was at its half when the next one started, and I could listen to them both in the same time. The phone was connected with car play by cable.

I do not ask for help, I write only to enlist one more bug to this iOS.

Apple changed the age ratings. It's likely that she is now considered too young for those based on her age. Your parents will need to adjust the settings.

My issues have been the other person not hearing me immediately once answering the phone, and even mid conversation. Some say I sound like I’m far from the phone. The phone glitches and lags for sure. I can’t say that I’ve experienced overheating, but I’m hoping there’s a new update coming soon that fixes these issues.

Ever since I downloaded iOS 26.1 my phone has been buggy in many ways. The most prominent bug being that sometimes all my app icons disappear and become grey, it takes some time before they reappear.

Then, sometimes my phone simply won’t turn on or react to me pressing the screen, and then 30s later I have a delayed reaction to whatever I tried to do.
