Potential issues with iOS 26 update

My phone signed me out of my google account after updating it to iOS 26 and now I can’t text I really need to text I can’t use the email I have to sign back in

After updating ios 26.0.1 in iphone 16 pro. I am facing face id issue while unlocking iphone. after unlocking app icons are not showing. Heating issue,battery health become 100 to 96%.

I updated to IOS 26.0.1 and my Magic Keyboard can longer delete Outlook emails from the Delete key. This was a feature I used frequently and I have tried all troubleshooting suggested.

I’m using an iPhone 11,updated with IOS 26.

I updated my iPad Pro 11 M2 to iOS 26 without issues as well. I always do a Force Restart after doing a major iOS update and my only issue has been at times the Calendar when opened when Week is selected, it will still appear as Month. It seems to have corrected itself today, so no issues.

Just updated to iOS26 yesterday night. When I’m on the home screen and I try to swipe through the windows, it just randomly restarts. Sometimes it doesn’t restart completely, sometimes it completely shuts down. Basically I can’t look for apps manually because of this but only by writing them on the search bar. Please fix this.

I do not use haptics except on silent so I noticed that my phone had silenced post-update immediately. I know you said your case muted the phone, but my case isn’t anywhere near the buttons. I still flipped it off and on just to be sure but it was still vibrating. I assumed it was something new but after an unsuccessful tour of the settings, I gave up. About an hour after the update, I turned the ringer off and then on again…then it worked. What I am not seeing is reports of the phone sleeping right away. My battery charge is fine, and I checked my settings to see if I was in low battery mode. Nope. Suuuuper buggy.

A Force Restart did not fix this issue - the Calendar app always opens in the Month view even though the last time I used it was in the Week view. I have an iPad Pro 11” 3rd gen. My wife has the same issue with her iPad Air 2nd generation.

When i scroll down for search at the main screen the search appears, and at the right side of the screen there are some strange pixels appearing and moving when i rotate the phone in my hand

iPad Pro 4th gen. Updated to iOS 26 with no issue. Restores backup and then reboots and stalls at an Apple logo. Tried 5 times. Tried and older backup. Can’t do it. iPhone 14 worked albeit it stalled a few times. Working decently now.

Unfortunately this isn’t seeming to work for several iPhones that have updated. Over a dozen time across multiple days and have gone through the process online to activate my account. Still get the error, and haven’t heard anything back from Apple.

going to make the hour drive to the closest Apple Store tomorrow to see if they can help.

After updating to iOS26 I noticed a problem with instagram DMs. When i click the media icon to send a photo in-chat, it no longer gives me the option to browse through my albums, it just shows the recents. I tried updating the Instagram app, but it did not solve my problem.

I came here first as I couldn’t find any information about this with iOS or IG on google.

Anyone else with this problem, or a solution?

After update as soon as I move my hand over my alarm to snooze by using the side button it turns off. I do not have attention aware turned on so it isn’t that. I don’t know if it is because the alarm is so large I’m hitting a button but if that’s the case then can we have the option to make it the original size? I never hit the screen always the side button.

Same thing is happening on my iPad 10th gen. Works fine for a while and then can’t swipe, unable to close apps and can’t shut down. Every day since this update, I have to force restart. I hope this bug is fixed quickly.
