I have been trying to substitute widgets on my carplay, when I go into settings under carplay and I click on widgets all I get is a loading circle with no results. I have restarted my iphone multiple times and nothing has worked. How do I fix this?

I have found that going into the settings in your car and renaming the Bluetooth connection that your iPhone uses and doing a “Fresh” CarPlay setup will solve a lot of problems.
Connect your car first let apple carplay load and then try and use the widgets this should fix the issue.
Same issue on both my cars. Very odd as a 4th car, that was I guess a rental at some point, seems to allow it editing of widgets in settings. I’m going to try to delete car from CP and reconnect with a new settings profile.

I am having the same issue. Restarted multiple times since upgrading iOS and still just get loading
Was user error, actually worked fine. I was looking at the wrong profiles. You do however have to connect to the car once with iOS26 to edit the profiles.
I keep trying, unfortunately hasn’t fixed it
