Invalid pick-up QR code for iPhone 17 pre-order

I joined the pre-order iPhone 17 and chose the pick-up method. They sent me QR for the pick-up and end up to found out that qr is invalid.


The store staff has checked it on the store system and it shows that my order is there with right customer detail, but still they didn't let me bring the item home.


Now they ask me to wait for 2 days with no confirmation whether the item will be shipped to my address or no. So what's the point of me joining pre-order??

This is a user to user support forum and Apple does not participate here. Unfortunately, none of us can do anything about what happened. You will have to deal with Apple about this entire thing. Sorry that it happened, but from what I understand, the QR code is not really necessary. If you have your order number from the confirmation email and your ID, they should have been able to locate you order, and you say they did, and you should have been able to pick it up in my opinion from how I've seen things work in the past.
