AirPods Pro 2 crackling in Transparency mode after firmware update

Since the latest firmware update of my AirPods Pro 2 (model A2698) to version 8A356, the right AirPod starts crackling when I turn on Transparency mode.

I think I figured it out! It was an iPhone setting with respect to Headphone Accommodations that was making the noise. I had played around with the Background sound settings in the menu AirPods Pro - Accessibility- iPhone Audio & Visual Settings - Background Sounds and turn it off there.

Problem resolved!

I am also having the same issue. I have an AirPods Pro 2 (lightning Gen - model A2698).

About a week ago I started noticing that the transparency and adaptive mode is more of a crackling static noise. I hear it mostly out of the right AirPod.

I around the same time I also tried did a hearing test and changed some listening preferences like use and audiogram and stuff.

So I was afraid I did some weird configuration that started to make the noise so tried to try a reset.

I have just tried a reset but with no success.

FW version: 8A356 Case Version: 74.10.0.

can anyone help?
