My magsafe charger just broke my phones battery?

My phone died one day so I used my MagSafe charger and it wouldn’t charge my phone at all. I went home to change my phone and none of my chargers worked, I tried 5. It eventually worked but I’m having issues. My phone is basically unusable without a charger around and it’d be a miracle if it even charged. Just now I took my phone off the charger and left it off in my pocket to go downstairs, by the time I came upstairs it was dead, didn’t take it out of my pocket, left my room with it at 31%. What do I do? This charger that’s literally meant for an apple phone broke my phone.

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18

The charger didn't break your phone. What you've described is a phone with a failing battery and no charger can fix that. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar, where they will likely tell you the battery is failing and you can pay Apple to put a new battery in your phone. Batteries are consumable parts and they don't last forever. See this link to schedule an appointment --> iPhone Battery Replacement - Apple Support
