IOS 26 Glass Icon Issue

I've been trying to play around with the new ios 26 update but the glass icons isn't working properly. Everyone is saying to go to "Display & Text" to reduce transparency. But it isn't an option for me. I only have "Display & Brightness".

Preserving reduced transparency and increased contrast with tinted Liquid Glass in iOS 26.1 In the new 26.1, in order to use Tinted for the liquid glass look for the notification screen, it asks us to disable Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast. Is there a way to keep both? I have a hard time distinguishing lines and shapes if the contrast is low and the line are not opaque. When it's transparent or less bold, I have a hard time seeing if things are underlined or boxed. I already have all of the setting to make thing thicker, bolder and bigger fonts just so I can distinguish what is on my screen, even with my reading glasses on. Thank you! Wallpaper icon/widget transparency issue I recently got the IOS 26.1 update and before it I had my wallpaper with a dark tint for the icons which were able to see through and extra widgets with transparent background and you could see through it but after the 26.1 update my apps are tinted but with a solid black background and same for the widgets, you can’t see through them anymore it’s just a solid color. Can I fix this or did it just update like that cause I miss the old transparency 💔💔

it does not look like you are inside "Settings->Accessibility->Display & Text Size"

What do you mean " the glass icons isn't working properly"?

App icons are only vaguely glassy anyway, and reducing transparency will make everything even less glassy.

Disability options rarely improve the OS for able bodied users
